Work History
I currently write for several publications including Phangan Inside magazine and Unearthing Asia. I am also a travel writer for Travelfish.org and am about to announce an exciting new role in an international news organisation…..stay tuned.
After gaining a first class degree in journalism, I worked on local newspapers as a reporter in London. With the skills I learned in these positions I moved on to being press officer for Soccerex, the global conference for the business of soccer. There I was responsible for generating press releases, managing relationships with members of the press, and producing copy for brochures and marketing. www.soccerex.com
I left the UK in 2004 and moved to Martha’s Vineyard, MA, where I worked for a landscaping company. I was solely responsible for all marketing material. I also managed and wrote website content for other businesses: including prominent US artist, Doug Kent.
In 2006 I became location independent and moved to Thailand where I continued my freelance writing career. To date I have written freelance for a wide variety of businesses including corporate hospitality, real estate guides, newspapers and magazines in the UK, Thailand and the US.
